We now offer a contact-free home delivery experience for items that are not eligible for parcel delivery, such as appliances and patio sets. To protect the health and safety of our customers and delivery teams, social distancing is used during the delivery process, and temporary, alternate protocols have been put in place to forgo the need for customers’ signatures. Products are now being delivered to the first covered area of customers’ homes, garage or outside (if applicable to the product type). If customers require placement or connections of their appliances (when applicable), we also offer this option, however it must be requested at the time of placing the order or when calling to set up the delivery time as the carriers will need to complete a screening process in advance of actual delivery to protect the health and safety of customers and delivery teams.
There are two requirements for delivery:
- Your delivery destination is located within 100 km of a Lowe's store location.**
- Your requested item(s) is available at your local Lowe's location.
Lowe's charges $70 for delivery. Additional charges may apply.***
Delivery rates are determined by the delivery address' distance from the store, rather than by the item weight. We will generally contact you within one to two days to schedule your delivery.
Delivery service to most areas is available to our customers seven days a week during normal store hours. Due to limited storage capacity, we require you take delivery within 30 days of your purchase.
All Lowe's truck deliveries are curb-side only, with exception of large appliances (fridges, freestanding ranges, dishwashers, washers, and dryers). Curb-side delivery service provides delivery of your item(s) to the curb at the end of your driveway.† This service does not include setup or assembly of items or removal of packaging materials.
The delivery team will provide basic hook up for any major appliance you purchase online (with the exception of gas products and dishwashers) at the point of delivery such as:
- Free-standing ranges
- Washers / Dryers
Free Haul Away Services on Major Appliances*
We will remove and haul away your old appliance free of charge when we deliver your new appliance to you! The appliance being removed must be disconnected prior to the arrival of our delivery team and be the same type as the new appliance being delivered. Alternatively, we can move your old appliance to another location in your home if required.
The delivery team cannot install or hook up items such as:
- Over-the-range microwaves
- Dishwashers, drop-in ranges
- Air conditioners
- Water heaters
- Wall ovens
- Surface units
Such items will be delivered, but require a certified tradesman to complete the installation.

Do not book installers or other labour and help until your items have been delivered, as delivery dates and times may vary.
Roofing shingles cannot be delivered to a rooftop.
*Free haul away only applies to major appliances.
**There are some locations that Lowe’s is unable to deliver to due to geographical or logistical circumstances. Please contact your local store for details.
***For deliveries outside 50 km radius, additional charges of $1 per km may apply. Maximum delivery radius will not exceed 100 km. Road tolls, ferry tolls, cabinet orders exceeding 20 units, and/or pallet charges may also be required before delivery.
† Online Exclusive major appliances will be delivered to the curbside only - due to weight restrictions.
