Your receipt will include Store, Register, Transaction and the Lowe's Protection Plan Summary where you will find your Plan Reference number(s). An easy to follow step--by--step approach will help you locate the information you need. Once you have registered your Plan, we will automatically update our database with your registration details. All registration information is treated as confidential. 
We strongly suggest you register your Lowe's Protection Plan. By doing so, your information will be readily available to our support team, which allows us to provide you with faster and more convenient service. If you choose to register your plan online, we offer you a convenient option to upload your scanned receipt for safe keeping in the event you need to file a claim
Yes, your Lowe's Protection Plan must be registered prior to filing a claim. However, if you did not register your Lowe's Protection Plan at the time that you initially purchased it, you may do so at any time online

A manufacturer typically only covers defects in materials and workmanship. A Lowe's Protection Plan does this plus protects against power surges, and failures caused by normal wear and tear. And remember, a Lowe's Protection Plan covers your product for much longer than a manufacturer's warranty. 
Coverage periods vary by product and Manufacturer. Please refer to the terms and conditions that came with your product to determine the warranty information specific to your product.

Customers have up to 30 days after their original product purchase to buy a Lowe's Protection Plan.
Yes, it's transferable. Not only can you give it as a gift, but you can also sell it, and you won't be charged for transferring the plan.
