Distinctive conifer, the Norfolk pine is a member of the Araucaria family and as its vernacular name implies, this tree is endemic to Norfolk Island. The distinctive appearance of this tree, with its widely spaced branches and symmetrical triangular outline, has made it a popular cultivated species. The plant grows well in deep soil, as long as it receives reliable water. Sold in bulk, it can survive from 2 to 3 years. When planted in a garden, upper crown can be cut off each year, and make a beautiful Christmas tree. The final product may differ from displayed images.
