Sun's Out Fun's Out!

We have everything you need to create the ultimate summer destination in your backyard! From swimming accessories to lawn games, you’ll find everything in-store or online. Visit your local Lowe’s and start shopping today!

1. Take a Dip in the Pool

Cool off with a dip in the pool! Swimming is a fun recreational activity for all ages, plus it gives the kids (and you) some time away from the screen. You can install a cost-effective above-ground pool or even set up kiddie pool for the little ones! What are you waiting for? Grab your bathing suit, sunscreen, and your favourite pool float! Speaking of pool floats…

2. Grab a Fun Floatie

You might want to sit back and soak up the sun, but the kids want to have some fun! Grab some pool noodles, water-friendly toys, and more to keep them occupied so you can relax on a pool lounger and work on your tan.

3. Bring the Park Home with a Playset

Turn your backyard into a playground! Playsets are so much more than the basic swing set of yesterday, and now come with loads of features including multiple slides, monkey bars, ladders, and lots of swing options for kids of every age. The possibilities are endless, and kids are guaranteed hours of playtime fun!

4. Get a Jump on the Fun with a Trampoline

Trampolines are a great way to get out all your energy and have fun at the same time! No matter the size of your backyard, there is a trampoline that is a perfect fit. Always be sure to take the necessary safety precautions, including installing an enclosure around the mat. You can also look for mat with anti-slip material and a foam protection pad to place around the edges.

5. All is Fair in Love & Lawn Games

Get into the competitive spirit with lawn games! A badminton set is the perfect way to start some friendly competition, plus it can double as a volleyball set. Pick up some other lawn games like disc drones or a pop-up soccer net to maximize your backyard fun!

6. Head to the Water

Pack up the car and head to your local lake for an afternoon on the water. Paddle boats are a great way to cool off and get out of your daily routine, plus you’ll get a great work out! Many come with lots of storage space for your gear, and even have insulated cup holders.

Note: Always wear a life jacket when operating paddle boats.

7. Power Nap in a Hammock

After all this fun in the sun, it’s time for you to get some much-needed rest and hammocks are the way to go! Did you know you can get a hammock big enough for two people? We’ve dubbed it the #glammock – a hammock that rises above the rest and offers ample shade and comfort!

8. Cozy Up By The Fire Pit

Now that you’re rested up, grab the marshmallows because there’s nothing like a campfire in the comfort of your own backyard! A fire pit is the best place to tell spooky stories, play games, or listen to some tunes under the moonlight. You can even get a multi-functional fire  pit that can flip into a table!
