Why Wallpaper?

  • Wallpapers are extremely simple to hang and remove, and cost less money than paint.
  • High quality wallpapers are so strong, they come off in full strips. Steamers, strippers, and chemical solvents are a thing of the past. Today’s non-woven, high-performance wallpapers or vinyl wall-coverings are easy to put up and take down.
  • If you’re a novice DIYer, non-woven wallpapers are easiest to work with. They don’t expand or contract, so there’s no need for “booking” or folding to let it expand.
  • Say goodbye to your grandmother’s pastel florals. Everything from subtle tone-on-tone to textured to larger-scale patterns is now available.
  • Give your space a new look with colour, pattern, and texture. Make a statement with simulated wood paneling, brick, stone, or grass cloth.
  • Give your walls and furniture character with watercolour florals, tone-on-tone patterns, metallics, large-scale graphic prints, and much more.
  • Pre-Pasted Wallpaper

Pre-pasted wallpaper has a layer of dried paste on its back surface, which is activated with moisture by submersing it in a water trough or by contact with a pre-paste activator. This type of wallpaper eliminates the trouble of purchasing and applying paste separately.

    Non-Pasted Wallpaper

Non-pasted wallpaper, also known as paste-the-wall wallpaper, requires wet paste to be applied to walls during installation. This type of paper needs the use of a paint roller or pasting brush for applying pre-mixed adhesive to walls before affixing the wallpaper panels.

    Types of Wallpaper

You can find wallpaper as one of three different kinds: fabric, non-woven, or vinyl.

    Fabric Wallpaper

Fabric wallpaper is made of a textured sheet of fabric that’s laminated, usually with vinyl. It’s easy to clean, scrubbable, and highly durable, making it a great choice for high-traffic areas or homes with kids. It can also hide surface imperfections so you can install it over rough walls, such as in older homes.

    Non-Woven Wallpaper

Non-woven wallpaper is made from a blend of natural and synthetic fibres, making it breathable and washable. Breathability contributes to reducing mould and mildew in humid or moist areas, like kitchens and bathrooms. Non-woven wallpaper also doesn’t expand or contract, ensuring accurate and easy application — perfect for beginners.

    Vinyl Wallpaper

Vinyl wallpaper is moisture-resistant, like non-woven wallpaper, but also easier to remove or strip if you want to change your décor. Plus, it’s light-resistant, so a window-facing wall won’t fade over time. Due to its reflective surface, vinyl is a great material for shiny or silky patterns and colours.
