Im very happy with how this tile turned out
By from U.P. of Michigan on Nov 16, 2015
I was pretty worried when reading about the reviews saying this tile would shatter whenever you tried to cut it. I am a DIY''er, and have only helped lay tile once about a decade ago. I borrowed a professional tile saw from a friend (a Falker Tile Master), and bought a diamond blade for my angle grinder for cuts that one couldnt do. I will say, I did not break a single tile. Not cutting out the toilet hole, or for a vent in the middle of the floor that required a "C" shaped cut out of the tile. So my worries were unfounded. Perhaps they had a bad batch. Or maybe they tried to rush their cuts. DO NOT RUSH YOUR CUTS! Let the blade do the work. Take your time! That being said, the tiles seemed to be pretty flat (all tile will have a bow in it, (some worse than others), but I didnt have any issues. Style wise, the pics on the website just do not do them justice. They are a really beautiful pattern that looks natural(ish). By that I mean, they look like poured concrete, not natural stone. But there''s a lot of variation in the tiles. So far I''ve only done the bathroom floor, in a mixture of 12x24s, and 6x24s. We''ll also be doing the shower soon. But Im attaching a pic of the completed floor. All in all, Im extremely pleased with the tile.

Good Product
By from Brantford, ON, CANADA on Nov 10, 2015
I have had this tile installed for a year and a half in my kitchen and for the past 4 months I installed it in my foyer, powder room and laundry and it looks awesome. I do not have any cracked tiles, or grout lines but will agree it chips easily as I chipped a corner on one when cleaning the grout lines, so be careful. I used a wet saw and they cut just fine if you take your time. I installed over 1/4" Fiberock with thinset and used a 1/2" x 1/2" square notch trowel. Comments from people saying it won''t cut or shatters don''t have the proper tools. Comments from people saying the tiles cracked installed it incorrectly or don''t have a proper sub floor. Do your homework and install it properly and you will be fine.

Bad quality tiles
By from Toronto, ON, CA on Oct 01, 2015
I did a floor kitchen installation using these tiles, I have a feeling that I''ll do it again. Cracks and chips very easy. A lot of tiles came defected already, chipped corners and edges. There are a lot of other places where you can buy tiles for the same price and better quality. A lot of bad reviews and the store keep selling it.

price friendly-installation nightmare
By from nc on Sep 14, 2015
I have been installing tile for over 30 years and I can honestly say that this is the hardest porcelain tile I have ever tried to cut. shower control valves, shower heads, and toilet flange holes are next to impossible to get cut in one piece regardless of what you use. ie; angle grinder dry, wet saw, angle grinder wet. I have spent a hour and 6 pieces of tile only to end up installing a broken piece of tile after giving up on ever getting it cut in one piece. what else can you do? the new porcelains are so ridiculously and unnecessarily hard and brittle it makes a tile installer''s job nearly impossible. I usually cover the floor vents up and cut them out after the tile sets because of the impossibility of cutting them any other way. tile held up fine when it was monocoturra instead of porcelain and you could make the hard cuts. tile doesn''t need to be fired at 6 trillion degrees to be tough. and think about the fossil fuel wasted and the carbon footprint that leaves behind. even though this tile is priced low, I wouldn''t recommend it to a customer knowing I had to install it. whoever chose to carry this tile at Lowe''s obviously doesn''t have to install it. not just the silver, but all the other colors are the same story.

Biggest regret of our kitchen
By from Michigan on Sep 03, 2015
We installed approximately 400 SF of this tile in our kitchen and have been incredibly dissatisfied for two reason: 1. It looks beautiful immediately after it has been swept and mopped, but it shows every trace of dirt and food. With two little kids and a dog, I am constantly having to clean this floor. 2. This floor has only been in our kitchen for 6 months and we already have no less than 10 cracked tiles. They crack incredibly easily. The cracks look awful, like there is a long black hair on the kitchen floor. I would NEVER recommend this product for a kitchen or bathroom floor and I hope we are able to replace it in the near future.

Nice Product
By from New Orleans, LA, USA on Jun 21, 2015
This is a beautiful tile.We tiled 180sq. ft. I used a tile cutter for the straight cuts and a wet saw for the tighter notches. Only 1 tile broke crooked and I used the snips for that. this is a true grey tile with lighter striations. I encountered 2 issues. There was different tile sizes. Some were a tad bit thicker and longer. The Other issue is there were quite a few tiles with a marking on them. It looks like a pencil mark but it is in the tile. I saved those to use under the cabinets and appliances. All in all, we are pleased and I would use these tiles again.

lowes really needs to take this product down
By from Easton, PA, USA on Jun 02, 2015
I am a contractor have been doing tile for 16 yrs this tile is junk ! For the manufacturer or anyone to say you cannot cut it because it takes away from its integrity is absurd and proves that is junk! Any tile should be able to be cut in any way needed a heater register vent is a common cut on a floor nothing special and this product shatters lowes cannot cut it so they shouldnt be able to sell it ! People BEWARE !!!! Lowes this product is junk ive worked with porcelain ceramic marble every single kind of tile thousands of times have never dealt with such poor quality and durability ! Read the comments above not the ones about it being pretty the ones about instalation ! IF YOU CANT CUT A TILE YOU CANT INSTALL IT PROPERLY ! I hope lowes does the honorable and responsible thing and pulls this product from its shelves because thats what it is bad !!!!!!!!!

Read the other one star reviews-tile cannot be cut
By from thornton, co on Apr 09, 2015
I love the look of this tile but unfortunately even with a sharp new blade this tile cannot be cut! Read the other one star reviews and you will see others with the same issue--wish I would''ve seen them before installation! Tile is beautiful but unfortunately if you have a vent or toilet or any obstruction the tile cannot be cut! it breaks every time! My tile installer who has 15 years of experience wasted at least a case of tile trying to get it to cut and it would shatter. Finally we ended up using gorilla glue to put in a few pieces where we just had to go with pieces with hairline fractures in them around the vent and toilet-cringe!! I hated to have him do it that way but felt like I had no choice since the other tiles were already installed. SO bummed! One tip is that the other big box competitor carries a tile extremely close to this one that cuts just fine called classico blanco. I know because we put it in my basement bathroom last year and it turned out perfectly. The only reason I didn''t get it this time is it was temporarily out of stock. wish I would''ve waited for it! take my advice, do not try this tile! I just hope lowes will refund me for the case + that was wasted trying to do this job.
