Exception made for appliances, OPEs† and furniture, if you receive an item you're dissatisfied with, you may return it within 90 days of receipt to any Lowe's store in Canada for a refund to your original tender within our current return policy guidelines. Bring the item(s) with a copy of your shipping confirmation email to the Returns Desk at your local Lowe's store.
Online returns can also be made by filling out our online returns form here. One of our customer service representatives will then email you a Return Authorization number along with a label for a hassle-free return (return shipping charges may apply).
Shipping charges are not refundable.
Please report items that are damaged, defective or
missing within 3 days of delivery (2 days for appliances) by filling out our
online returns form here.
Outdoor power equipment †, major appliances and furniture purchases may be returned within 30 days of the date of receipt, with the original receipt.
† OPE (Outdoor Power Equipment)
New OPE (Outdoor Power Equipment) merchandise (including but not limited to, Mowers, Chain Saws, Snow Blowers, Generators, Pressure Washers, Trimmers and Blowers) purchased at a Lowe's store in Canada may be returned within 30 days of the date of purchase, with the original receipt. Lowe's will refund the purchase price based on the original method of payment. The product must be unused/unopened in order for the customer to receive a refund.
Used OPE (Outdoor Power Equipment) Merchandise There are no returns on used OPE (Outdoor Power Equipment) merchandise. Used OPE merchandise is subject to the manufacturer's warranty.
Custom Products
No returns. Any product that has been cut or mixed cannot be returned. Any custom SOS products like doors, windows, window treatments cannot be returned.
Hygienic Reasons
There are no returns on certain products for hygienic reasons (e.g. toilet seats, masks, gloves, etc.).
Plants (online & in-store)
For replacement or refund, a receipt is required for
any tree, shrub or perennial purchased at Lowe’s within one year of the
original purchase date. All other plants fall under our 90-day return policy.
Holiday Items
Must be returned on or before the day of the holiday (e.g., Christmas). Items purchased after the holiday are final sales, and no returns will be accepted.
