Expand your room using corners.
Install wall shelves or storage units for creative design solutions that also maximize your space.
Switch to compact, elongated toilets.
Newer toilets use less water and are more eco-friendly, and elongated toilet seats offer added comfort.
Simplify your walls with solid colours.
Instead of busy patterns that can make your bathroom feel smaller and more restrictive, use light, natural tones to open up your space. Other options include playing with textures or consider using light prints sparingly. For a bold look, showcase your style in the powder room.
Stick to sliding shower doors or shower screens.
Sliding doors don't need room for door clearance, and the clear glass helps to create the perception of more space.
Don't be afraid to downsize.
Install a smaller vanity, a pedestal sink or a wall-mounted sink. Console tables, although they may not be smaller, also help to expand the illusion of space because of their slender legs.
