Amanda's Fat Grass

Amanda's Fat Grass Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 large block of compressed peat moss
    Such as: Click Here
  • 1 30 L bag of triple mix
(best if it has vermiculite in it)
  • 1 bag of grass starter fertilizer
    Such as: Click Here
  • Browse fertilizer: Click Here
  • 1 bag the appropriate kind of grass seed for your lawn or area of damage (sun, shade or both?)
    Browse grass seed: Click Here

Directions

1

Mix peat moss and soil with water until it is damp, not drippy. It takes time and patience to do this. (Mix it in a wheel barrow so it is easier to move around the yard.)

2

Distribute the mix on thin, bare or damaged spots on your lawn, spread a little fertilizer on top and then add some seed.

3

Tap it down to set the seed and keep it from becoming a bird buffet. Water it daily.

4

The fresh grass should grow within 10 days and fills in your lawn to a beautiful thick golf green!
