Bosch Diswasher
By from Claremore, OK, USA on May 25, 2016
This Dishwasher is the quietest I have ever used in my sixty-nine years. Very easy to operate and keep clean.

Doesn''t fit any dishes, doesn''t dry, doesn''t wash unless on heavy, takes forever. Worst dishwasher ever.

First I will list the pros:

1) It is quiet

2) It gets dishes clean

3) Pots and pans load easily

Now the cons:

1) The engineer who designed the loading racks should be ashamed of themselves. It had to have been designed with the intention of laying all of the dishes flat on their sides. Cups will not stand on their own unless you pack it completely full and let them lean into each other. Plates do not stack well at all. I could put twice as many dishes in my old Kenmore and had plenty of options to be creative when packing it with dishes.

2) It takes FOREVER to run a load. Nearly 2.5 hours

3) No heated dryer. The dishes will never dry in the dishwasher. I have to "stage" them in the dish drainer to put up later of hand dry them. Energy saver BS I guess.

In review, as far as the Pros go, well, its supposed to get dishes clean and It should be quieter than my 20 year old dishwasher. It is just unfortunate you cannot test drive a dishwasher before you buy it. Very disappointed with my purchase especially since it had a good CR rating. Well, at least it is shiny.

Better than the old dishwasher!
By from Mooresville, NC, USA on May 22, 2016
We have had this dishwasher for over a month now. When we bought the dishwasher, it came with refill liquid rinse aid and a couple of the washing bars. You must pour the rinse aid into the refill tab in order for your dishes to dry. (Also, before we did the rinse aid it really stunk bad and after the rinse aid we have had no problem with the smell) There are lots of reviews saying the dishwasher doesn''t dry their dishes, but I did test it with and without the rinse aid. Your dishes are definitely dry once you add the rinse aid. The sound is unbelievably quiet. I never know when it''s running or not. The only thing that I don''t like is how hard the door is to pull down at first. As far as the reviews about the latch, we haven''t had a problem with that. I definitely recommend this dishwasher for anyone that''s looking for one that''s worth the money!!

Good so far.

It is very quiet. On "Auto Wash", which is recommended by directions, it will take 2 hours to wash. If push button for sanitize (which is also recommended) will take 2 hours & 20 minutes. Just be sure to account for it taking that long. Other than that seems pretty good. My plastic Tupperware and plastic cups still are not completely dry when finished. But from what others say their dishwasher does the same thing.

Quiet - Only Redeeming feature
By from Mesa, AZ on May 07, 2016
The only redeeming feature of this machine is the quietness. The interior and racks are so poorly designed it is difficult getting in any large dishes. I have some stoneware plates that cannot fit between the tiny tines in the racks. Forget trying to get pots and pans in there. Even if I can manage to get them in the lower rack, all to themselves, they are too high and prevent the arm from going around to clean the dishes in the upper rack. The top rack is awkward, and difficult to fit many glasses in there. So strangely designed, that glasses don''t want to stay standing. The machine costs enough that it should be easier to load, and should clean better without having to spend so much time manipulating things to fit. I tell everyone I know to NOT get one of these unless their only requirement is a quiet machine. Definitely not worth it.

Not worth the money even when on sale

We bought model SHE3ARF5UC 5 months ago and we think that it was a bad choice. The latch is not clicking anymore. Machine stops working in the middle of cycle as door is not properly closed. The control panel is plastic and looks fragile. The cycles have strange timing. Express wash is 1 hour cycle. Not very convenient menu, hard to set options. And another strange thing that you have to press OFF to turn machine off, otherwise panel will blink forever.

Bosch Ascenta Diswasher
By from Angier, NC 27501, USA on May 02, 2016
I have a Bosch Ascenta dishwasher that is fifteen months old. I absolutely hate it! I had a fifteen year old Whirlpool and was told when I bought the Bosch that Whirlpool is no longer as well built as it was fifteen years ago. So I bought the Bosch. The spacer tines in the dishwasher are so close together that at tops you can wash four cereal bowls at a time. The tines are also slanted so that it is more difficult to get the dishes in. I asked the company if I could replace the racks with more user friendly ones. The answer was that it was designed in Germany with the idea that it would accomodate many plates. Well, I live alone and have many plates only on holidays. This thing is a nightmare to load, therefore I rarely can get everything in the dishwasher. The control panel may start and it may not. I dislike the buttons, in that they are hinky and you never know whether they are going to make contact and actually start the machine or not. The good thing is that it does wash and dry well once you get it loaded and IF it starts. However, I had a new Whirlpool installed first and had to have it removed as it did not wash or dry dishes. Morale: Spend more and buy a USA made product if all possible.
