This product has exceeded my expectations

I remember seeing this product on one of those DIY videos. Once received, I knew it was made of exceptional quality of materials. I have no doubt that this product will last a life time.

Great Results
By Lowe's Guest from North Dakota on Sep 22, 2014
I read a lot about the walkmaker before I decided to give it a try. We did around 150 feet of this all the way around our home and it worked great. We had never poured concrete before and because we had a pretty large job ahead of us we decided to get a concrete mixer. That was a great decision and it made the process so easy. Unless you are doing a very small job, I would definitely recommend a mixer. We used Quikrete cement color in the buff shade. The color does not turn out the same as the bottle shows so if color is important to you, I would test it out first. Using the mold was very easy and it went very fast. After the concrete had dried we filled in the gaps using Quikrete sand/topping mix. We just put it on dry, swept out the excess and used the mist setting on our hose to wet it down and it worked great. We had extra concrete so we made an extra mold and tested out its durability by throwing rocks on it etc. and it was surprisingly strong.

Great concrete mold
By Lowe's Guest from Gastonia, NC, USA on Jul 02, 2014
We bought this to create a fast walkway on a rental to keep mud out when it rained. Quick and easy to use but it does require a bag per mold.

How wonderful not have to worry about base
By Lowe's Guest from Cherokee, NC on Jun 20, 2014
Unlike regular pavers this product allows you to just fill and go. No base work is needed, you can do plenty of patterns with this product and it''s easy to use. I love it.

Mold needs to be resized
By Lowe's Guest from Parrish Fl 34219 on May 29, 2014
I made a short 8 foot walkway and it came out very nice. My only complaint is that a 50# bag of Quickrete was not enough to fill the mold and a 80# bag was too much.

Satisfied overall
By Lowe's Guest from Ohio on Apr 22, 2014
Satisfied overall with this product. Thinking about making a YouTube video after that fact. Did one walkway from patio to shed about 4''W x 10''L and one small platform for the garbage cans about 2''W x 8''L. Used (10) 80 lb bags of Quikrete cement mix in total. About 4-5 bottles of dye for walkway only. Some tips and tricks I learned along the way are -- Difficult to make curves. Works best for straight walks. Partial forms are not as strong as forming entire mold. Used 4" tall x 40ft plastic (for flower beds) and lined the perimeter of the walk, and wooden stakes to hold in place after setting molds. Filled in voids with dry polymeric sand and used water to set and let harden. If you don''t do this or use some sort of mortar, the individual "stones" will move and crack. After the sand hardened, I trimmed the plastic to the top of the stone with a Porter Cable oscillating cutter. I then hammered the stakes more so flush with top of plastic. So far so good.
