Priced right, cheap and easy to install. Beats painting your own shelving. Doesn''t take bumps and nicks well....be careful when you install.

Just be clear about what you are buying. 12" wide means 11-1/2" wide. Same with length - a half inch short. I expect 2x4s to be 1-1/2"x 3-1/2", but I don''t expect sheet sizes to be wrong. If I buy a 4''x8'' plywood sheet, I expect it to be 48"x96" - not a half inch short. Many people may not notice or care that it is short. It may even fit into the brackets better. I needed it to be exactly 12" wide, and it wasn''t. Other reviews of different sizes note mixed widths (5/8" vs. 3/4"). I only found the 5/8", which is what I needed this time. Typically I prefer the thicker boards when making shelves as it tends to sag. Best bet regardless of thickness is to space your brackets closer together if you intend to put a lot of weight on the shelf.
