Dont try to put this thing together by your self or if there is a slight breeze. Like London bridge it will come falling down. Hope it can handle an alberta winter...

We are very satisfied with this product. It's easy to set up - took us one whole day to build it up excluding laying the floor. It's very sturdy and roomy. strongly recommended.

Title for your review*
By June B. from Location on Oct 14, 2014
Visually this is a good looking shed. Takes 2 people to assemble it though. Not fond of the floor design because it creates soft spots. Maybe you will need to buy a stronger wood such as plywood. We used the sheets with pieces glued together. Sorry don't know the proper name of this. The door handle is cheap with the plastic latch. Best to get something else to close the door. It has only been up for 3 weeks so can't comment on long term.

Shed has a very big flaw
By Rene D from sudbury on Oct 08, 2014
Avid Do-It-Yourselfer
This shed has no drip edge on the roof!!!!!!!! i did not think that it was going to be a big deal at first but the floors get wet when it rains and everything starts to rust inside the shed. the way the shed is made the rain goes off the roof and down the walls til it hits the frame at the bottom witch is a c channel that has drain holes facing out.even if you spend allot of time sealing all the gaps in the lower frame all the water still flows out the drain holes on to your framing and floors soaking the wood adding humidity inside the shed. if the shed had a drip edge the water would drip on the ground and there would not be problems with metal rusting inside. the other bad thing about this shed is the plastic plugs with pre drilled holes holding on the roof panels. i had one panel that was made smaller then the others so i had to drill out 4 holes. this shed needs to have the snow taken off the roof or you need to build a frame inside the shed to carry the load of the beams because it cant hold a lot of snow. the shed at my local lowes had a wall collapse from having to much snow on it.

Very good and sturdy

This product is easy to put together and definitely have help for the walls as the foundation is easy but the walls you will need help and definitely make sure the winds are below 10km/h before your start as its very flimsy until you have the main frame together.

Excellent amount of space horizontally and vertically.

I finished the foundation in about 1 hour and then started the walls the next day and the room structure the say after. I spread the work over a week an hour a day and it's very easy but follow the instructions and you will be fine.

I got it on sale for $750 plus HST, so wait for sale and it's great. I had a company come and dig 18" and fill with gravel and patio slabs for 11x9 feet and it allows for the shed to sit in the center of it. Make sure you have enough room on both sides of the shed for snow all around it. Will see how it will stand Ottawa winters.

Great price and great product.

An interesting build

It's a decent shed, it includes the base kit which would have been nice if it wasn't so flimsy and impossible to work with as the frame bent when being moved just a couple of feet. If you buy this shed be prepared to invest a few more dollars in proper 2X6 structural lumber and build yourself a proper base.

Shed erection was pretty average, the u channel on the bottom I thought lacked enough support and when the bracing was installed to try to slide the vinyl walls through it was a real challenge. Eventually got the hang of it and the walls went up in under 2 hours. Then the real fun began! The walls were wobbly, and that is an understatement trying to get up to install the roof frame according to the instructions without bringing down the walls was also... a challenge. Only popped out one corner, which of course was the one that was against two fences, perfect! Read the instructions extremely carefully, at this point after struggling with the instructions you may start to make an assumption or two when assembling the roof truss system and it's supports. Don't!!! Make sure each and every single hole lines up or you'll struggle with the roof. After a couple do overs finally got to the roof, and with one person on the fence and the other inside the shed it was a quick but difficult process. The panels had to be massaged into place, and the little pin system for the roof is extremely annoying. Have a third person available, if possible to hand the clips and pins up and DON'T PRE-ASSEMBLE. I did have to drill a couple of the holes into new locations as they simply wouldn't line up, and don't forget your silicone for the roof.

Eventually the roof went on and the doors and vents were done too. Next step was the silicone sealing the interior, this was a bit frustrating because you want to seal it... but it's a shed. I had a tube of clear silicone for outdoor use and within my city's temperature range. I found that when I was sealing the u channel to the deck that there was a considerable number of gaps between the vinyl and the u channel. Naturally I started filling in these gaps and quickly ran out of silicone. If you're a perfectionist and want this thing sealed, you're going to need at least 3 tubes of silicone.

In the end, I've got the garage nearly emptied of my seasonal tools and my wife is very happy. I'd recommend buying some shelving units and keeping objects from leaning against the shed walls. Happy ending.
