- Visit Lowe's, where a trained Specialist is waiting to help you.
Your Specialist will help you select the perfect garage door and
opener for your project, as well as coordinate your installation.
- Purchase your garage door and opener along with your installation
services. For garage doors, schedule an in-home visit, where your installer will measure your door to ensure an accurate fit. (A deposit is required for this measurement that will be credited toward your garage door installation project purchase.)
- If you only require a new or replacement garage door opener, your Specialist can help you select the right opener for your garage door. Optional charges may apply.
- Your installer will call you to arrange a convenient time to schedule an appointment.
On The Job
Your installer will:
- Arrange delivery of your new garage door.
- Remove and haul away your existing garage door, notifying you of any dump fees.
- Install your new garage door in an existing opening
of roughly the same size with included hardware.
- Install weather stripping, as well as reinforce and reconnect any existing garage door operator.
- Install your new garage door opener, if purchased. Installed location must have an existing 110-volt outlet within 3 feet (91.44 cm) of the garage door motor.
- Test to ensure proper operation of both your garage door
and opener, including the automatic safety beam reversal.
- Clean-up once the job is done.
