I didn''t purchase the chiminea for it''s typical use....I''m remodeling my living room into an Irish Pub and this Chiminea had all the authentic characteristics I was looking for. To get that warm toasty feel for indoors I took two sets of mini christmas lights (one that blinked and one that didn''t) and placed them inside the belly of the stove. I then covered the lights with crumbled up red cellophane paper (the kind you use to cover easter baskets). Stay with me now, the finally I strategically placed black river rocks on top of everything and also under the stove to give it even a more rustic look. Wala! The chiminea now has a low glow of embers that never burn out! Ok, so I can''t toast marshmallows but......I LOVE IT!

Good price, fairly easy to put together and worked well. I choose this over others because I could put bigger/longer pieces of wood in it and it seemed more sturdy. I constanly have tree limbs in my yard and this made an easy and fun way to despose of them. My only complaint is that the bottom pan will collect water as there is no dain hole - assuming you don''t use the cover (I have a lab, so the cover may not survive). Anyhow, I will be drilling one on my own but that is no biggie. Very happy with purchase.

Looks like a little kid put this together. We should not have bought it on line.

My husband went and bought this for me as gift. The paint job is very poorly done - not even at all. The rotating screen is irregular in the track. And hot sliding door to allow the ash to fall to the bottom receptacle is also poorly in contact with its track - very crooked. If I could I would return it but he already threw away the box.
