At 8mm you can''t expect high end quality but for the money, ease of installation even on uneven and damaged floor it was fairly easy to install. Overall, a good product.

Love this floor!
By Lowe's Guest from Springfield, MO, USA on Sep 22, 2014
Upgraded Laundry/mud room area from garage access to this Laminate tile, replacing old Vinyl. It looks great, color was perfect for this room~the true tile look, stone planks went down very well, (this was our first attempt at flooring) Easy to work with, not to mention it totally changed the look of the whole room! Very durable and satisfied with this pick! Wish I had not waited so long to make the change! Thanks to Lowe''s for their great help--they had everything we needed in stock to begin our project!

Horrible laminate

Firstly let me say I have installed various laminate flooring in two of our houses, so i consider myself very experienced DIY handyman.
I purchased about 500 square feet of SwiftLock 13-in x 51.24-in (Tuscany stone colour) Laminate Flooring. The product look great so i was excited to start installing it.
That's where the excitement turned to frustration. Both the long and short ends did not lock in properly, some gaps were in the middle, some on the end, no consistency whatsoever. So i tried gluing them, but again no luck.
Stay away from this product if you expect tight locks and easy installation. I completed an initial 20 square feet in about 2 hours. This should only have been about 20 minutes max with cutting.
I absolutely DO NOT recommend this product. If i could give a negative star rating i would. But 1 star is the lowest i can enter.

Great for someone on a budget and time crunch!
By Lowe's Guest from WA on Sep 08, 2014
A lot of the pieces were damages along the tongue and groove but we just used the damaged ones as the ones we had to cut. Overall we are very happy with our purchase and happy that it took two newbies only 3 hours to do a kitchen that''s 130sq ft. I plan to use the same flooring in a bathroom and mudroom.

Stay away from this!! Manufacturer won't help!!!

I installed several different types of laminate flooring and by far this is the worst. I installed two rows of this flooring with no gaps. I then had issues with gaps on the short side of the board on the bottom only the length was going together with no gaps the top touched but at the bottom there is noticeable gap. Called the manufacturer and described what was happening and was told to change out the planks that would not match up and use another plank that would work (which tells me they know they have issues with this floor). The manufacturer told me the locking mechanism broke off and was causing the issue with the board. I told him If it was broke off why did all three sides line up and touch but there is a gap on only the bottom of the short side. If you have a rectangle that is misaligned you would have two side not touching or showing gaps. The only way three sides will touch and not all four is if one side is not cut at 90 degrees, the manufacturer transferred my call to the service tech whom I never heard from. Tried to contact the manufacturer and they would no longer answer my questions and tech still has not returned my call. You're on your own with this product. I will be taking this horrible product back.

Poorly designed product
By Lowe's Guest from Prescott, AZ on Mar 09, 2014
This product looked very promising to my wife and I, to overlay on the finished concrete floor of our exercise room. The Sierra tile appearance also matched tile on other rooms of our home. As soon as we attempted to install the first two pieces of laminate, we noticed that the pieces of laminate do not join up cleanly and a noticeable light brown wood seam and a gap in the simulated grey grout line stood out like a sore thumb... incredibly noticeable. We tried a few other pieces from other packages, but the results were the same. We are returning the product (10 boxes) and will now go with a better quality product.

Nice Floor
By Lowe's Guest from Hixson, Chattanooga, TN, USA on Mar 04, 2014
I have installed several laminate floors and after reading other reviews on this floor about joints lining up poorly. I almost returned this flooring due to those same problems with other floors that just wear you out installing them. I had a few problems with some of the joints but after a few I started cleaning all the joints out first by using a small piece of scrap flooring and joining it to a full piece and slide it up and down the joint cleans small parts of derbies out of joint. Yes a little extra work but worth the trouble. Made for nice joints. Out of 18 boxes I had 1 full box (5 pieces) that I had to return as received damaged. I used a skill saw to make most cuts with no chipping, I used glue on all joints near exterior doors and within 5 ft of dishwasher, refrigerator and the washer as recommended in install directions online download. I offset the grout lines which gave the floor more style and made for easy alignment. I would recommend this floor if you have the time and patience to do it took 21/2 days 400 sq ft laundry room and kitchen. Use spacers at the wall to help keep it square
