Whip up this easy project in an afternoon.

STEP-BY-STEP

1. Sand any rough edges on the round wooden pine panel, and wipe it clean. Prime the panel
and the two planters. Allow to dry. (See Figure 1)

2. Apply at least two coats of paint to the panel and planters. Allow to dry. Apply a coat of clear
polyurethane to the panel and planters. If you want a glossier look, apply several coats. Allow
to dry. (See Figure 2)

3. Join the planters (base to base) using adhesive for small projects. Centre the panel on the
upper planter, and secure it using the adhesive. (See Figure 3)

  • clear polyurethane (Cabot, #52949)
  • adhesive for small projects (Liquid Nails #272890)
