Buy the more expensive brand. It will save you more time and money. This product does shrink. It is a filler sort of..... I had to buy more just to fill in the cracks that were left open after following the directions & completely covering them the first time. I would not buy this again!

I filled two separate 3 foot by 1/12 inch cracks in my driveway with tempature that friday at 72 and cure until Sunday when it was 74. I waited 72 hours, 24 hours past the manufacturers recomendation and applied a sealant top coat to my driveway on the following Monday. Again, the weather was perfect. Thursday, two days after my driveway sealant cured, we had a slight rainfall. I went outside to check and noticed my cracks were no longer filled and the crack filer had bleed down my driveway. Needless to say, this product is the worst crack filller i''ve ever seen. Do yourself a favor, if the price is half the price of reputable crack fillers, there is a reason! Do not purchase this terrible product.

Semi-viscous black water not a crack filler
By Moose from Cookeville, TN on Aug 15, 2011
Black Jack Crack-Stop Elastic Crack Filler is not a filler: It is almost as thin as water and it does not fill cracks well. I have applied this product to some areas three times and the asphalt crack still was not filled when the product dried sufficiently. Do not waste your money or time with this product. QRP is superior.

The only crack filler that won''t fill cracks.
By Ed from NC on Jun 14, 2011
This filler is so thin that it will not fill the smallest cracks. Year , I mixed it up good. I have filled the same cracks three times and they are still not filled.

Water thin sealer
By DIY''er from Wartrace, TN on May 29, 2011
This product is too thin. Most of it evaporates when dry, requiring multiple applications. The QPR brand is thicker and fills in better and with minimum shrinkage when dry.

Use more than you think in even small cracks.
By Leon from Winston-Salem, NC on Mar 09, 2011
I used this product on small and larger cracks in my driveway two years ago, immediately prior to sealing. The larger cracks opened up within a year, and the smaller cracks have opened up again as well. It looked good when I put it on, but there is a good deal of shrinkage that occurs. Don''t expect your driveway to stay crack-free for more than a year with this stuff.

Lots of shrinkage
By Rick from Alabama on Oct 03, 2010
This is an asphalt emulsion (asphalt and water). It is very easy to use and clean up. The nature of any emulsion is a lot of shrinkage. Expect 24 to 50% shrinkage with this product. Along with the shrinkage will be some cracking. Therefore, expect to two or more times to seal.

product is junk
By Steve from Knoxville, Tn. on Feb 14, 2010
In warm weather, September 09, I pressure washed cracked areas, then cleaned with recommended precleaner, applied crack filler to1/16-3/16 cracks and then sealed my driveway way with 7 yr blacktop sealer. By November 09 it started flaking off. Now in February 10 is about all gone.
